Flying into History

There are sites and museums where you can view historic aircraft: the Air and Space Museum in Ottawa, Canadian Warplane Heritage in Hamilton. Waterloo Warbirds has its own angle. They are all about taking you for a ride in Vampires and MiGs.

Based at the Region of Waterloo International Airport [Ontario,] Waterloo Warbirds offers exciting and historic flights in authentic fighter jets from the Cold War Era. With four different Vintage Jets to choose from — Canadair T33, Aero L29 Viper, DeHavilland DH115 Vampire and MiG15. Passenger Fly Days are hosted from March to November.
Video above is from their Canada Day flyover over the University of Waterloo.
